Suning acquires Jiangsu Guoxin-Sainty FC

Chinese e-commerce business Suning Group has acquired Chinese Super League (CSL) club Jiangsu Guoxin-Sainty FC from JSGX.
The deal means the club will be renamed Jiangsu Suning FC and a new team logo, badge, song and kit are set to be unveiled. No financial terms were disclosed.
At an announcement of the deal at Suning’s company headquarters in Nanjing, Zhang Jindong, the chairman of Suning Holdings, said: “Suning Group took over the club, the club will continue to increase investment.
“Suning Group’s future business operations will be in the club, team building, the great fans and culture and youth aspects.”
Jiangsu Suning FC must now register with the Jiangsu Football Association and the Chinese Football Association in order to have their place ratified in the CSL, the top professional soccer division in China.
