Andrew Markham is Head of Global Partnerships for Liverpool Football Club, where he is responsible for growing the Club’s family of commercial partners. LFC currently have 38 partnerships on a global or regional basis, including SAIC MOTOR following the recent appointment of MG as the Club’s ‘Official Automotive Partner in China’. Andrew began his career in sports sponsorship with Manchester United, where he planned and initiated the roll-out of a new regional sponsorship sales strategy; establishing exclusive partnerships with international mobile network operators on a territory-by-territory basis across 40+ countries. Partners included PCCW in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Liverpool FC in September 2013, Andrew headed up the sponsorship team at Southampton FC as the Club returned to the Premier League. During his time at SFC the Club secured their first international sponsorship with Eterna Watches (acquired by Citychamp) and established a ground-breaking partnership with Sunseeker Yachts (acquired by Dalian Wanda).
